Psychology Testing

Whether it is a full psychological assessment or a more specialized assessment for Autism, learning disorders, and/or ADHD, we have you covered.
At Utah Valley Psychology, we pride ourselves on incorporating psychological testing into all our services. Partnering with science in the treatment process helps to pinpoint challenges and come up with interventions specific to your needs. We have a dedicated testing room and several well-trained mental health professionals ready to assist you with your testing needs. At Utah Valley Psychology, we have the following assessments available:
Learning Disorders
There are many obstacles to learning. We have several assessment methods to help uncover what yours may be and what can be done to improve learning.
Many of those that come to Utah Valley Psychology to get testing for learning challenges have been struggling for a while. Some have recently transitioned to a more challenging learning environment and are struggling for the first time. In either case, we have experience in helping those who struggling find out why things are hard and come up with plans to improve. We often communicate with learning institutions and provide recommendations to assist in coming up with an individualized education plan to meet your needs. We have experts that do the following testing.

Autism

We have experts that can answer your question!
Many parents come to us because they suspect their child is on the autism spectrum. Others come because they know someone who has been diagnosed with autism and they recognize that they have some similar challenges. Whatever your situation, whether you are young or older, if you have questions about autism, we can help you get your answers. Our experts have extensive training in the “Gold Standard” of autism assessment.

ADHD
Not all those who struggle with attention problems have ADHD but we can help you find out and get help.
Though Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is not classified as a learning disorder, most who struggle with ADHD have learning problems. We understand that when you come in for an ADHD evaluation that there are struggles. If we find out your struggles are not ADHD related, we will give you the answers you need to help you understand what is contributing to your challenges. If you have ADHD, we will recommend the best courses of treatment.

Emotional Functioning
